New Tube Saturday Early Show appearance

I made an appearance on the Saturday Early Show to talk about some of the latest viral videos.  One vid I discussed was Hillary's request for help choosing a campaign theme song.

FYI, Senator Clinton has an update for us on her help-me-choose-my-campaign-song contest.  It's pretty well done.  She makes great use of some of the more zany video responses she has gotten.

Don't Dance Don't Tell

Thought you might get a kick out of this video.  It's of a dancing cadet who became a smash hit on YoutTube. Robert Gates made mention of it today in his commencement address at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Help Hillary

Senator Hillary Clinton wants your help choosing her campaign theme song.  Over 600,000 people have watched her appeal for your advice, and according to the campaign, 130,000 people have voted.  She's self-deprecating and shows dry wit in her online video.  Is this a sign that presidential candidates are finally starting to figure out how to engage voters online?  Or is this a campaign stunt that's good for little more than a laugh?

Hasselbeck's gay view

Will Wikle 's interview with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the conservative voice on  ABC's The View.  Among the hot topics of the interview: gay rights.

Don't ask don't tell... oh... nevermind

The United States Navy has called an openly-gay sailor back to active duty after giving him the miltary boot under “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” . According to Stars & Stripes newspaper, Petty Officer Jason Knight came out to his command and was later discharged from the Navy in 2005. But today, is finishing a one-year tour in Kuwait... How is that possible? Here's my interview with Petty Officer Knight via webcam from his living room in San Diego, California...

On Vaca...

Puerto_rico__127237 Hi All.  It may be a couple of days before I post again.  Will and I are taking a little vaca down in Puerto Rico.  We'll be back by the end of the week.
