Whitney: I Wanna Dance With Somebody... Just Not Bobby, Thanks.

Whitney, appearing with her mentor Clive Davis, in Beverly Hills last night. Not looking too bad...

So... Has Whitney finally decided to part ways from Bobby Brown? That's what reports today are saying. I don't know if her hubby has been an enabler (or worse) when it comes to Whitney's purported drug problems, but I do hope she turns her stuff around. It's redundant at this point to lament the squandering of her massive talents that we've witnessed the last few years, but hey... I'm all for a major comeback, anytime.

Maybe if Whit splits from Mr. Brown, she can just hole up with her family (cousin Dionne and mama Cissy) and take care of herself for awhile. Or just do something. Pull it together, gurl!!! Even Osama Bin Laden is fond of you, honey. Bring it!

Anyway, these pics are of Whitney at an event in Beverly Hills last night, at a tribute to Johnny Mathis... She looks a bit tired and beat-down, but I bet she's just resiliant enough and hopefully ready to sort her sh*t out. Let's hope.

We want you back, Whit!

OK... Whit looks a bit rough in this pic with Dionne, but maybe it's just a harsh shot.

This one's better. Rough, but better. See... I think she's gonna be okay. Learning to love yourself if the greatest love of all, y'all.
