Ummm... I’m sure today’s youngsters will be all over this one...
Calvin Klein (well, not him exactly; he sold his personal stake in his label a while back) is looking to lure in bloggers, 20-somethings, hipsters, etc with a new fragrance, CKIN2U. It’s the company’s way of trying to update their last youth-centric scent, CK One launched back in 1994 (Introducing... Kate Moss!)
Yikes. The CK folks have coined terms like “technosexuals” (even getting the term copyrighted) and are pitching their new pair of his-and-her scents with taglines like, “She likes how he blogs, her texts turn him on. It’s intense. For right now.”
Oh. Dear. Lord.
But of course, I just wrote about it, so their crafty scheme worked...
